How to use Water Finding Paste

Have you ever wondered how water finding paste works? It is simple and is primarily used to detect the presence of water in your fuel tank. It is very easy to use, first you take a gauging stick and apply a thin layer of paste on it. The paste will turn from yellow to bright red with the presence of water.

There are two types of water finding pastes regular and modified. The regular paste generally detects water within petroleum products. And modified paste is very effective towards methanol and or any ethanol enriched fuel products.
